Flowers or plants can be sent to the home before a service is scheduled.
When the service is scheduled and you are sending your flowers to the service you should order them in time for them to be at the visitation or viewing as well. It is common for the family to do a private viewing prior to recieving friends and family at a public visitation, we will coordinate delivery of your flowers with the funeral home to ensure the flowers are there for the family's viewing.
There may also be times that you were not able to send flowers in time for the service. The grieving process doesn’t end when the service is over and it is a wonderful gesture to send flowers a few days or weeks after the service to remind the family you are still thinking of them. The first anniversary after a loved one’s passing can be particularly hard and is a date many choose to send an arrangement to the home or office.
